As Giacomo says below:

 > > in Syncope 1.2.7 the end user functionality is part of syncope
console:

The link you refer above is for 2.0, as said in [1] - anyway I have just
updated [2] to avoid future misunderstandings.

So:

  1. if you want to take a look at self-registration feature, go to
/syncope-console/ and click on the "Self registration" link
  2. if you want to take a look at password reset feature, go to
/syncope-console/ and click on the "Password reset" link
  3. if you want to take a look at self profile management, go to
/syncope-console/ , authenticate as plain user (not admin), then click
onto your own username on the top right corner

Hope this clarifies.
Regards.

Many thanks, got it.

Now I see this parameters is turned on by default:

But where is functionality as described?

https://syncope.apache.org/docs/getting-started.html

“End-user UI is the web-based application for self-registration,
self-service and password reset”

In your screenshot below, the rightmost part is truncated: if you refer to

I've assembled a quick video for the purpose, hope this will solve:

Ø In the screenshot above you have clicked onto "Schema", then into

Ø Giacomo refers to the "itemized list" icon that shows after you click
onto "Configuration" - the last icon in the bar above, right before Logout.

I don't understand what shall I do.

There is no parameters as “selfRegistration.allowed”,
“passwordReset.allowed” or “passwordReset.securityQuestion”

Ok, I have this settings:

Please make attention there: in syncope 1.2.7 parameters option is not a
tab anymore, but you need to click on a 'list' icon under the logout button.

I don`t understand where is this ‘list’ icon.

In the screenshot above you have clicked onto "Schema", then into
"Configuration".

Giacomo refers to the "itemized list" icon that shows after you click onto
"Configuration" - the last icon in the bar above, right before Logout.

Giacomo, we should really update

Hi Oleg,

in Syncope 1.2.7 the end user functionality is part of syncope console: you
can enable self registration and password reset by modifying syncope
properties.

If you enable those two options and then try to access to the login page of
syncope console, you will see at the bottom two new links: the first one
related to self registration and the second one related to password reset.

If you prefer, you can write your own web application that interacts with
syncope REST interface. It's basically what we're doing in syncope 2.0,
where the end user is a standalone application.

HTH,

Hi Oleg,
in Syncope 1.2.7 the end user functionality is part of syncope
console: you can enable self registration and password reset by
modifying syncope properties.
If you enable those two options and then
try to access to the login page of syncope console, you will see at the
bottom two new links: the first one related to self registration and
the second one related to password reset.
If you prefer, you can write your own web application that interacts with syncope REST interface. It's basically what we're doing in syncope 2.0, where the end user is a standalone application.
HTH,
