[jira] [Commented] (CURATOR-42) DeleteBuilder considers NoNode to be a failed delete

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CURATOR-42?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13693483#comment-13693483 ]

Jordan Zimmerman commented on CURATOR-42:
-----------------------------------------

Do you that calling delete on a non-existent node shouldn't fail? I disagree. Curator does not try to change the semantics of ZooKeeper. A feature like this should only be added with a modifier of some time, i.e. delete().ignoringMissingNodes().forPath(...)

> In delete(), NoNode should be a special case which succeeds instantly, and does not consider the delete failed.
