   ## [SIP] Proposal for Filtering Pivot table columns with categorical variables.
   
   
   ### Motivation
   Description of the problem to be solved.
   
   I have a pivot table grouped by a categorical variable and the columns are categorical variables as well with about 7 categories. However, rather than have columns for total and the 7 categories, I just want to keep total ('all') and 2 categories.The problem is, I cannot filter for both categories, and even if I filter for one category, the total count ('all) disappears. Is this possible now and if not, can it be implemented?
   
   ### Proposed Change
   Have it possible to filter pivot table columns with categorical variables
   
   ### New or Changed Public Interfaces
   
   Describe any new additions to the model, views or `REST` endpoints. Describe any changes to existing visualizations, dashboards and React components. Describe changes that affect the Superset CLI and how Superset is deployed.
   
   ### New dependencies

   Describe any database migrations that are necessary, or updates to stored URLs.
