Next release

I know I said I wanted to do a release a while back, but have as yet
not done so ...

The reason is that I kept finding bugs (or bugs kept being reported)
and I did not want to make a release knowing that there were bugs that
could be easily fixed.

There are still some problems with non-standard SSL certificates that
I have not been able to sort out, and reports of problems with Cookies
when using SSL (but I have not been able to reproduce them).

Unless anyone else can chip in with test-cases/patches in the next few
days, I think I should cut a release anyway, so I'm planning (again, I
know) to do a build in about a week.
