[jira] [Commented] (JCS-125) Make a jar with the 2.0 code available
for download

Richard Eigenmann commented on JCS-125:
---------------------------------------
It's been a year since I raised the ticket. Thanks for picking it up.
I must confess I am not at ease with Maven or Ivy and don't use automatic dependency management in my project. So I will be happiest with a link on the download page.
Unfortunately all the links on the download page https://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-jcs/download_jcs.cgi are dead. And there are no pointers on how to quickly download the desired jar from Maven Central.
Can't we post the latest jar on the http://mirror.switch.ch/mirror/apache/dist/commons/jcs/binaries/ directory and fix the download page? I am willing to help if someone is prepared to give me some guidance.

> For those desiring to try out the 2.0 version it would be very helpful to have the 2.0 jars available for download under the download link on the JCS page.
> For the 1.3 users it would also be helpful to link to the repo where the concurrent jar can be downloaded.
