[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-4650) Svnpubsub-based git-svn updates

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4650?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13857422#comment-13857422 ]

Daniel Gruno commented on INFRA-4650:
-------------------------------------

Probably best if we table this issue till we have consolidated our git resources, since the current git.a.o zone only has very ancient support for Python. Other than that, I think we're about 90% towards having solved this.

> Currently the git-svn mirrors rely on commit notification mails for information about when each repository has changed and needs to be updated. This setup is a bit cumbersome and relies on somewhat complicated mailer configuration. Instead of replicating this mechanism on git-wip-us, it would be nicer if we could come up with an svnpubsub client that listened for changes in svn and triggered git-svn updates based on those events.
