[jira] [Created] (KAFKA-1340) hadoop-consumer not working with
hadoop 2.2.0
Marcelo Valle Avila created KAFKA-1340:
------------------------------------------
Summary: hadoop-consumer not working with hadoop 2.2.0
Key: KAFKA-1340
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-1340
Project: Kafka
Issue Type: Bug
Components: contrib
Affects Versions: 0.8.0
Reporter: Marcelo Valle Avila
Priority: Minor
Kafka native hadoop-consumer is compiled with hadoop 0.20 dependencies, so isn't working with hadoop last releases.
The code hasn't support from two years ago.
Is this a discarded option to load kafka messages to HDFS?
Refactoring the code to adapt for hadoop 2 is in the road map?
