[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-1196) While building a Netbeans 9 JavaFX project (Maven), Netbeans tries to access javafxpackager with a bad file path.

David Barber created NETBEANS-1196:
--------------------------------------

             Summary: While building a Netbeans 9 JavaFX project (Maven), Netbeans tries to access javafxpackager with a bad file path.
                 Key: NETBEANS-1196
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-1196
             Project: NetBeans
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 9.0
         Environment: Lubuntu 18.04, Dell Vostro 1720, Core 2 Duo, 8gb RAM.
            Reporter: David Barber

During a build in a javaFX Maven project, the following maven error is generated:

{color:#d04437}Failed to execute goal org.codehaus.mojo:exec-maven-plugin:1.2.1:exec (unpack-dependencies) on project NewVelocityToolFX: Command execution failed. Cannot run program "/usr/java/jdk-9.0.1/../bin/javafxpackager" (in directory "/home/dave/EnerseisLinux/NewVelocityToolFX"): error=2, No such file or directory -> [Help 1]{color}

Two issues:
 # The extraneous .. in the file path. This makes it point to a non-existing directory.
 # javafxpackager has been deprecated and is now javapackager, at least at the Java 9 release.
