branch for 0.15.0 has been made. I’m going to prepare the release packages and send out the vote emails at some point in the next weeks, when some sort of consensus emerged that we are finally ready and did not overlook something important.

Hi all,

would like to announce that I am going to create a branch for 0.15.0 soon. The rough idea is to release the branch officially around beginning of Setptember, so we have plenty of time getting it right, even for Java. ;-)

If you want any particular features in that branch, or if there are any general objections against that plan, this is the time to take action.

If we manage to include that “partial reads” feature at least for one language that wold be of course great. Yet if we need more time for that one, that’s also fine IMHO. So no need to rush, there will be more releases.
