We use Salesforce component version 3.18.x and although we use all error handler methods, a connection exception is not thrown, but instead we get following exception as a WARN:
{color:#FF0000}TimeoutException: DNS timeout 15000 ms,
UnknownHostException: XXX.sandbox.my.salesforce.com,{color}
The repeated re-connection to Salesforce leads to our component silently dying.

Is there any other way to throw connection exceptions?
