Transferring Sessions

I have two computers with different operating systems 
(Microsoft Windows and Linux). 

The one site is developed in asp and the other in php. I 
want to be able to transfer sessions from one site to the 
other so that access to from one to the other is 
tranparent. 

Any ideas on how to do this?
