Cleaning up distribution binaries

I removed 3.1.0-alpha-1 from here: http://www.apache.org/dist/maven/binaries/

This is maintained for Jenkins. Does anyone know if that has been fixed to find Maven in the new locations, or does 3.2.1 need to be copied into there as well?

Any objections to removing these directories too?
http://www.apache.org/dist/maven/maven-1/
http://www.apache.org/dist/maven/maven-2/

:)

Cheers,
Brett

nice idea
but the README.txt files are not listed:
http://www.apache.org/dist/maven/maven-1/
http://www.apache.org/dist/maven/maven-2/

is there some config to change? Or use another filename, like HEAD.txt?

Regards,

Hervé

Good call. I added the following README's pointing to the EOL pages:
- http://www.apache.org/dist/maven/maven-2/README.txt

I haven't removed the old ones yet, in case there are further concerns raised.

Brett,

I would leave the directories, remove the archives and add a README stating
that the stuff people are looking for is not supported anymore and direct
them to a wiki page holding their options.
