[Bug 123929] I am not able to use Opensymbols characters

Thank You, Regina, for answering; the gol is to put in a text an arrow and a
miu (from the greek alphabet); I considered three possibilities:
1. select the Opensymbols font from the right Text Property pannel or from the
left top row font disply;
2. insert special character;
in the former option I was able to type greek characters, but not the arrow
in the latter, I was able to type both; why?
It is hard to me undestand why in the display of the Opensymbol font arrows and
other nice chgaracters are seen, but when you choose that font nothing happens.
Furthermore I was not abkle to find Dingbats; where it is?
