Juggling with Github and JIRA

Following up on this:

I'd rather do as much as possible in one place. Github seems like a better
place since the code is a click away and comments in the code are very
valuable.

What about issues where there are no PRs in place yet though? What
constitutes the link between the two systems, the "external issue link"?
Can it be added later and be synced from that point on?

+1 from me. I don't think anyone feels Jira is better than GH Issues. What
are next steps?

What Github provides is basically the review board of Apache, but then a lot better.

Don't think a vote is required for this. Let's just let it sit for a day or
two to make sure everyone has had a chance to voice opinion, then do it.

Should we vote on turning on the feature then?

Yea, as soon as the PR is created, asfgit will start cross posting.

Note: the posts look pretty nasty in JIRA, but if you just use it as an
archival thing, then IMO it's OK.
