[jira] Created: (UIMA-1418) Find/Annotate dialog annotation type should be synchronized with editor mode

Find/Annotate dialog annotation type should be synchronized with editor mode
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: UIMA-1418
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-1418
             Project: UIMA
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: CasEditor
    Affects Versions: 2.3
            Reporter: Jörn Kottmann
            Assignee: Jörn Kottmann
             Fix For: 2.3

The Find/Annotate dialog in the Cas Editor chooses uima.tcas.Annotation as the default type. The behavior can easily confuse users because
the uima.tcas.Annotation type is not necessarily visualized in the editor. The default type should be changed to the mode type of the editor, since the mode type is always shown and often thats also the type a user needs.
