   this is a good approach! i merged with the current master branch which was migrated to OSGi R7 annotations in the meantime.
   
   i will apply a bit more refactorings to it and check if we can add unit tests here to validate it, or otherwise will add integration tests to https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-models-integration-tests which is the place where currently all tests for exporter are placed.
