Call for (prospective) Authors: Something to do while we're waiting ;)

Ok, here's a first: I'm looking for authors to write about something
about which absolutely nothing is known ;)

Seriously, I have received the go-ahead from my publishers to assemble
a team to write a Jakarta book *whenever* enough information is known.

If need be, we can publish under the OPL so the book can also be
distributed on the Jakarta website --- basically, we have a publisher
who understands the importance of having good manuals for new
technologies and is offering a carrot on a stick to coax us to
document our work early in the game.

Right now, we are obviously not cutting any contracts on this book
just yet, but if anyone is interested in being in on the project when
Jakarta is a little more than a blobby cloud in everyone's diagrams,
let me know directly or fill out my author sign-up form at
http://www.teledyn.com/authors.shtml and be sure to mention Jakarta in
your comments.

Happens all the time. We've had authors write about lots of Java stuff
before it went 1.0 :) But seriously...

Cool. There's a Jakarta Documentation list now up
(docs@jakarta.apache.org) -- the website has details of this now.
Basically, send mail to docs-subscribe@jakarta.apache.org.

There is a documentation list, but nothing seems to have been
posted on it yet. As with everything, we're waiting for the code
drop.

	To subscribe to the list, send a message to:
	<do...@jakarta.apache.org>

	To remove your address from the list, send a message to:
	<do...@jakarta.apache.org>

I guess I'm wary of signing up with a publisher, who in my mind
creates sub-standard books (no names) and then there are
the ones who create good/great books.
