[jira] Created: (TUSCANY-971) DAS may not now depend on CPL if EMF has completed migration to EPL

DAS may not now depend on CPL if EMF has completed migration to EPL
-------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: TUSCANY-971
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-971
             Project: Tuscany
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Java DAS RDB
    Affects Versions: Java-Mx
            Reporter: Luciano Resende
         Assigned To: Luciano Resende
             Fix For: Java-Mx

The IPMC review of the LICENSE file for SDO M2 asked for clarification of which jars in the SDO distribution depend relate to which licenses. Eclipse began a migration from the CPL to the EPL a while back (http://www.eclipse.org/legal/cpl2epl/CPL2EPLTransitionPlan.pdf) and I have checked every about.html file in every EMF jar that we redistribute, and they all reference EPL and not CPL, so I believe the migration is complete for the set of jars that we redistribute and that thererfore the CPL can be removed from our LICENSE.txt files in SDO Impl and in DAS (unless DAS has some other dependency on CPL). I would like independent confrmation of my assertion before removing the CPL from the LICENSES files.

This is same as http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-894
