Heh.

I didn't commit those changes because it would take too long for me to
test them on a Unix box, to make sure the Unix build isn't broken.

I was expecting Greg Stein to take over, but he seems to have run away
from the Windows build madness. :-)

Nope... I've applied the changes, made some Python 1.5.2 compat changes, and
am reviewing the output now.

It is looking good, so I'll probably go ahead and check them in. Not like
the patches can break things :-) Then I'll go ahead and start a round of
build testing on Mike's Windows box. (I'm in Chicago now; I can also do more
Windows testing next week when I get back to CA)

Sorry for the breakage, all. But it looks like we're darned close now.
