Xalan bug

I would appreciate any help on the following bug I have found using xalan-j_1_2_2.

The problem is that when using the <![CDATA ...]]> mechanism to enclose characters that would otherwise be markup
I get <?xslt-next-is-raw formatter-to-dom?> included in the output when serialized.  This problem does not occur in
earlier versions of Xalan (xalan-1.2).  The problem occurs when a Xerces DOM tree is used as the source and
result target.

The problem can be reproduced by running x12test.java.
