AOO incompatible with Novell Client

Hi all,

I've submitted the following issue.

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=121473

It seems there is a blocking incompatibility between AOO 3.4.1 (and
earlier) and Novell Client on WinXP.

LibreOffice solved this issue starting from 3.5.3 version.

I'd like to go deeper to this problem and any suggestion how to debug
this situation is welcome.

Easiest way would be to look at patches that went into LO 3.5.3 and
see what the root cause was.  Then, without copying the LO code, make
an equivalent fix for AOO.
