   @enixon Sorry for the delay.
   
   Unfortunately there's no plan to deprecate 4LW commands, but we already have the consensus in the community (as far as I'm concerned). Therefore I don't think it's worth the effort to add new functionality. We should push users towards using Admin commands instead.
   
   Documentation-wise I think this is an area that we should improve. It would be great if you could pick this up and put together some initial documentation on ZooKeeper admin commands along with your new patches.
