Best Client for Viewing/Editing Xindice 1.1?

Whats peoples favorite client for Viewing/Editing the contents of
Xindice 1.1? I've tried the Eclipse plug-in, XindiceBrowser etc but I
can't get them to work with 1.1, they all seem to only work with 1.0.

yes <Uri>xmldb:xindice://test:8080</Uri> is looking for db_bootsrtap.ior.
and <Uri>xmldb:xindice://test:8080/</Uri> is looking for _bootsrtap.ior.

the message is
<msg>
Error during connection: A connection to the Database instance '' could not
be created. Error: http:/test:8080/_bootstrap.ior
</msg>

As I said It works perfectly fine locally i.e. with
<Uri>xmldb:xindice:///</Uri>

remote copy of xmldbgui.
<Uri>xmldb:xindice://test:8080</Uri>  does work

Thanks and sorry again,.

Don,
  have you tried simply with <Uri>xmldb:xindice://test:8080</Uri> ?

But it's strange that is looking for the bootstrap.ior file.
If you are using Xindice 1.1 (from Apache CVS), you should also updated
the Xindice jar files in XMLdbGUI (under <xmldbgui_home>/lib/xindice).

There some documentation on how to do that
(docs/HowTo_Use_Xindice1_1.html).
If you don't have such file you can download the newer XMLdbGUI version
from http://titanium.dstc.edu.au/xml/xmldbgui/

If you're using Xindice 1.0, you can set the connection URI (in XMLdbGUI
conf/conf.xml file) to:
  xmldb:xindice://myserver_name:4080

With Xindice 1.1, you can set it to:
  xmldb:xindice://myserver_name:8080

As usuall I didn't read the fine print on the site and downloaded the
wrong version.

Does this work with Xindice Servers on a different machine than the client?

I tried it without trying to change the configuartion file or xindice
jars and it was looking for "ior" files. Is there a recommended way to
update it to work with 1.1?

I tried replacing xindice.jar, but started getting stacktraces.
