Symptoms:

 If caching is enabled:
>From the log file, a couple of lines per request:

- unlink: /usr/dfws/proxy/cache/#tmpaacsw: No such file or directory
[Tue Jun 25 10:26:32 1996] proxy: error linking cache file
- link: /usr/dfws/proxy/cache/3/w/P/H@XE8jB4pBcM1xsUZ2g: No such file or directory
[Tue Jun 25 10:26:32 1996] proxy: error deleting temp file

 If caching is disabled (i don't really need it, since this is a firewall):

[Tue Jun 25 10:21:21 1996] httpd: caught SIGSEGV, dumping core

 (none of the requests get served, it just dumps core.)
