Is there an IRC chat today?

I probably won't be able to make it, but would love to see us clarify the
handlers discussion to the point where we could start coding this.  IMHO, we
need to get something in 2.0.  It seems like a lot of people (myself
included) need this functionality before 3 will be ready.  Anyways, if there
is a chat, can someone post the log as usual?
