   Thanks for your eyes on Druid and the contribution. 
   
   1st, I think the term 'slowQuery' might be a better and widely used name other than 'longQuery'.
   
   2nd, I'm still confused why you want to count the number of longQuery based on threshold defined in Druid? We usually do such things in a 3rd metric visualization system. I'm doubtful if it will be accepted by the community.
