Hive 0.8.1 Total MapReduce CPU Time Spent differs from Hive Time Taken:

I'm seeing a major difference between Total MapReduce CPU Time and Time
Taken: in Hive 0.8.1.  It seems to be adding 5+ minutes to the MapReduce
CPU time while the query only takes 45 seconds?  I'm on Hadoop 1.0.1 as
well.

Any ideas and this difference?
