Are you saying that if all else (database pooling, memory, webserver 
config, garbage collection, etc..) is perfect, will Velocity hold up 
it's end and serve 5/10/100 template pages a second? I think so. Though 
I think you'd be doing some server load balancing anyway on the high end 
of that anyway, right? Your question is really a webserver & jdk 
config/optimization question? Velocity (the view) is a very small part 
of your solution, and is not likely to be any part of the bottleneck.
