Re: 1.7 release date

Is a 1.7.0 RC process right after 1.6.3 realistic?

Looking at the 1.7 list from the last meetup [1] and the JIRA list for 1.7.0 [2] there is *a lot* to do for a 1.7.0 release. Do we push 1.7.0 to mid-December to be released immediately after 1.6.4?

Everett

That's fine with me but I'd like to see us keep our 6 week cadence and release 1.7.1 mid-December. I'd really like to get the OpenStack Marconi stuff into that release.

If we don't have any volunteers for 1.7.1 yet, I don't mind doing that release.

Cheers,
Everett
