google web history like application using solr?

Hi,

I would like to implement something like google web history
(personalized search) for the users of our search, but really I don't
know how one would go about that. Surely it can't be that every user
has their own index? So I suppose there must be some clever way to do
it, any one have any links or a suggestion as to how one would go
about building it?
