How to configure IE8 for Http Proxy Server

Hi,
I'm new to Jmeter. please anyone guide me to configure HTTP Proxy server for
IE8 browser with example to create a Test Plan.

I have no LAN settings, It is a Home personal System.

Is there any specific reason you are mentioning IE8? (Jmeter is not and does
not drive a browser when you are running tests)
