ab.c really isn't designed to make different requests over
the course of a test run, since its purpose (all of the stats
collection) is to repeat the same exact request many times.

Your enhancement would be better done as a separate program.
For example, please consider the flood product in

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/flood/trunk/

and see if it meets your needs.
