[jira] [Commented] (ARCHETYPE-476) Decide what to do with the
Archetypes List wiki page
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARCHETYPE-476?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17206715#comment-17206715 ]
Michael Boyles commented on ARCHETYPE-476:
------------------------------------------
It used to be [http://docs.codehaus.org/display/MAVENUSER/Archetypes+List] but it's dead now.
According to [this|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/MAVEN/Wiki+migration] the main "MAVEN" wiki was migrated, but MAVENUSER remained on Codehaus. It's gone now though. Maybe [~hboutemy] knows what happened to MAVENUSER?
If it's been lost, we should close this ticket

> On the wiki there is an "Archetypes List" page, suggesting that it "holds the complete list of archetypes (even not hosted at apache)". This is not true and I don't think it is feasible to keep it updated, not desirable to keep such a list. In the central repository there is an archetype catalog that lists all archetypes there which should be, and is, used instead.
