Problem with tomcat-users

I've got a problem when trying to set up some security in Tomcat 3.2.
I've noticed somebody else in this list has the same problem, but I'll try
to ask again, once this person didn't get any answer so far...

Since I added security constraints to one of the applications, what happens 
is that the username/password window pops up, I enter the correct username
and password, but then some error comes up saying that server is not able to
find the file I requested.

Does anybody have a clue of what could be wrong?
