Xsd versions xmlvalidator supports

Hi

I have to validate an xml file, I am using the xml validator in nifi 1.4, however I also need to check one of the fields for blacklisted values.
I have found out that I may be able to use xs:assert in the xml schema if the validator supports xsd1.1. Can anyone tell me if the xmlvalidator in nifi1.4 supports xsd1.1?

If not does anyone have a neat way of testing blacklisted values in a flowfile or an attribute?
