Currently, each mapper is passed the same configuration in IMRU. However, there are cases where each mapper needs to do a different job. For example, each mapper wants to act on different dimensions of the data and hence needs to know the range it wants to work on or each mapper wants to randomly sample the data with different seed.

The aim of jira is to allow this functionality, discuss possible solutions and implement it.
