* Bug Report
##### COMPONENT NAME
<!--
Categorize the issue, e.g. API, VR, VPN, UI, etc.
-->
~~~
Linstor, KVM, VR
~~~
##### CLOUDSTACK VERSION
<!--
New line separated list of affected versions, commit ID for issues on main branch.
-->
~~~
4.18.1
~~~
##### CONFIGURATION
<!--
Information about the configuration if relevant, e.g. basic network, advanced networking, etc. N/A otherwise
-->
3 ubuntu 22.0.4 KVM nodes in the Linstor cluster.
1 Node configured as Combined Linstor node type and the only one providing the storage.
##### OS / ENVIRONMENT
<!--
Information about the environment if relevant, N/A otherwise
-->
Ubuntu 22.0.4 KVM
Linstor
##### SUMMARY
<!-- Explain the problem/feature briefly -->
On deploying Virtual router onto a KVM cluster configured as Linstor cluster well where there is one Linstor node outside the KVM cluster then the VR won't start. The patching step times out.
024-02-02 10:38:25,968 DEBUG [kvm.resource.LibvirtComputingResource] (agentRequest-Handler-1:null) (logid:277cdb3e) Executing: /usr/share/cloudstack-common/scripts/vm/hypervisor/kvm/patch.sh -n r-4-VM -c template=domP name=r-4-VM
---truncated-------
2024-02-02 10:38:25,970 DEBUG [kvm.resource.LibvirtComputingResource] (agentRequest-Handler-1:null) (logid:277cdb3e) Executing while with timeout : 300000
##### STEPS TO REPRODUCE
<!--
For bugs, show exactly how to reproduce the problem, using a minimal test-case. Use Screenshots if accurate.
For new features, show how the feature would be used.
-->
<!-- Paste example playbooks or commands between quotes below -->
~~~
1. Create a Linstor cluster with 3 nodes
2. Add a resource group with storagepool only from the node 1 i.e in combined type.
3. Add the 2 satellites as KVM hosts in the cloudstack
4. Deploy a vm with a new guest network with VR.
~~~
<!-- You can also paste gist.github.com links for larger files -->
##### EXPECTED RESULTS
<!-- What did you expect to happen when running the steps above? -->
~~~
VR should be created and configured on Linstor.
~~~
##### ACTUAL RESULTS
<!-- What actually happened? -->
<!-- Paste verbatim command output between quotes below -->
~~~
VR fails to get configured on Linstor ( only when using the above mentioned design) .
The template cached in primary storage seems to be usable in all the hosts?
Update: this issue appears even after adding the storage provider node to the cloudstack as KVM host, the VR volume doesn't seem to be created properly?
