[jira] [Created] (LOG4PHP-180) Remove $_ENV and $_SERVER access
from LoggerMDC
Ivan Habunek created LOG4PHP-180:
------------------------------------
Summary: Remove $_ENV and $_SERVER access from LoggerMDC
Key: LOG4PHP-180
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4PHP-180
Project: Log4php
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Code
Affects Versions: 2.2.1
Reporter: Ivan Habunek
Assignee: Ivan Habunek
Fix For: 2.3.0
Since the pattern layout can now provide data from the superglobal arrays, including $_SERVER and $_ENV, this functionality is no longer necessary in the MDC.
Currently you could use patterns like:
%X{server.HTTP_HOST}
%X{env.USER}
>From 2.3 it is possible to do:
%s{HTTP_HOST}
%e{USER}
Or better:
%server{HTTP_HOST}
%env{USER}
