FtpServer 1.0.0-M2 released

The Apache MINA project is pleased to announce the release of
FtpServer 1.0.0-M2.

This is the first release of FtpServer and a big step towards getting
1.0 done, hopefully later this year.

We welcome you to try it out. We have tried to make it simple both to
embed within your application as well as running it standalone.

Feedback on feature requests, bugs or questions are most welcome at
our mailing lists.

The latest release is now available here:
http://mina.apache.org/ftpserver/downloads.html

A list of all the resolved issues for this this release is available here :
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?version=12312320&styleName=Html&projectId=10571

This is a milestone release and is not yet considered suitable for
production use. At least one more milestone release will be made
before the end game to 1.0. Thus, the API will go through some
breaking changes before being fully stable.

Thanks !

It might be that all mirrors have not yet updated, please try later or
try a different mirror. My local mirror had received the updates.

As for the bug report, we have to cut the release somewhere. I'm
hoping to be able to push quickly forward to the M3 release. As you
tend to provide patches, that make getting bug fixes in a lot faster
:-)

Hello niklas,

This is great news!
How unlucky that when I checked the binary wasn't available for download
yet, but my bug report didn't arrive on time
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FTPSERVER-152.

Anyway this is a great project and I'm looking forward to be of any help to
it.
