Christophe

I was kind of planning to do exactly that... ;-) See you next week!

Hi Jukka,
Provided you have a CSS and all pages have the same basic structure, you
can easily do that by having the CSS a static file in the wiki and
define the autoexport template accordingly. To build the navigation a
simple wiki page may be created, which may be included in the export
template.
If you need help, I could definitely help. We could also look at it next
week during ApacheCon if you wish.

Felix

Yes. Anyone can comment the pages in the cwiki space.
I'm not sure how well this will work in practice and should we be
pointing users to the cwiki pages (instead of the exported site) if
they want to contribute, but I think almost anything is better than
the way we currently manage the web site.

ok
But does it allow annotations for not committers (with some workflow
behind such that committers can review)?

Not really. By policy only Jackrabbit committers will be allowed to
work directly on content that gets published on the official project
web site. So only committers will have write access on the JCR space
in cwiki.

I might have missed something, but is the purpose of the cwiki to allow
"anyone" to work on the official website which then is generated as
static files based on the cwiki content?
Thanks

Hi,
A reasonably good version of the cwiki export is now available for
review at http://cwiki.apache.org/JCR/. Most of the navigation links
don't work yet, but I plan to migrate much of the site content over
during the next few days. Please let me know if you're willing to
help.

It would be great if people would take care of migrating the current
content from jackrabbit.apache.org to cwiki, as I don't think there's
any automatic import feature.
I'm experimenting with the Confluence exports to
http://people.apache.org/~jukka/JCR/ (yes, it's really crude at the
moment), with the goal to make it look like a site layout designed by
Michael Eppelheimer at Day (see
http://www.eppelheimer.com/clients/day/jackrabbit/site/apache/faq.html).

Not sure, what migration plan Jukka has. We would probably also need
some design work to be done.

Thanks Felix.
my account is clombart. Can you add it in the desired groups.
If needed, I can start to migrate the entire Jackrabbit web site.

Hi Christophe,
Sorry, there was no answer. Apparently, the JCR Confluence space is up
and running.
If you register a user account with Confluence, I can add you to the
jackrabbit-committers group such that you may add your documentation
(and of course to the sling-committers group :-) ).

Sorry to disturb again with this question
I would like to work on the OCM doc but but I'm wondering if it is better to
wait or not the confluence wiki. I can start with maven & apt and see later.
thanks,
Christophe
