[DISCUSS] Collecting the features planned for release 2.6.0

Hi, everyone

I hope you've all been doing well. We haven’t released a major version for
almost six months. So I would like to start an email thread to discuss
features that we planned for 2.6.0.

There are many great features in 2.6.0. I'm sorting out the new features
and highlight some major features under
