Slack digest for #dev - 2020-04-07

2020-04-06 15:46:55 UTC - Michael Scott: Not sure if this is the best place to discuss this but in the C bindings for C++ library when allocating a memory e.g. here: <https://github.com/apache/pulsar/blob/master/pulsar-client-cpp/lib/c/c_Message.cc#L23>, it would be nice to wrap the `new` call with `try-catch` block to catch the `std::bad_alloc` and return NULL. Problem with this is that a C program cannot catch an exception so a bad allocation would result in a crash.
