[jira] [Created] (HBASE-3932) Support saving MR jobs counters in HBase.

Support saving MR jobs counters in HBase.
-----------------------------------------

                 Key: HBASE-3932
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-3932
             Project: HBase
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: mapreduce
            Reporter: Ophir Cohen
            Priority: Minor

Currently MR jobs keep their counters into file. It will be a nice feature to add ability to store those counters into HBase.

I'm not sure how it can be done (might be an Hadoop-core issue?).
In my vision I see it as built-in feature that after one time enabling and setting the target table - it will spill the counters of each and every job.
