Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: FOR-100
Summary: Forrestbot2: don't copy local files
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Closed
   Priority: Minor
 Resolution: FIXED

    Project: Forrest
  Component: Forrestbot
    Fix For: HEAD
   Versions:
             HEAD

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Marshall Roch

    Created: Sun, 28 Dec 2003 8:26 AM
    Updated: Sun, 28 Dec 2003 5:57 PM

Description:
Is there a purpose to copying all of the local files before building? I am attaching a patch to build from the source directory, without affecting anything else, such as where the work/ directory is. Saves a couple of seconds during build...

For example, say you are working on a site in /home/forrest/. /home/forrest2/ has the Forrestbot2 script in it, so you cd to it and run forrestbot. The site is built from /home/forrest/ without copying, and work/ still goes in /home/forrest2/.
