Contribute modifications
As we agreed on, I have added some things to the Contribute section.
http://users.skynet.be/pereinar/mod-perl/contribute/
There might be too many items for the Documentation part. But I wanted to
make the Templates visible enough. I could however just link to those from
the Style files. Furthermore, maybe the style files could be merged into one?
Another things is that I moved the CVS Howto to the contribute section. But
I'm not entirely sure about this, as it contains information for people
wanting to download *and* for people wanting to contribute. My rationale
was that if someone followed CVS, it would be more on a development
perspective (patches) than an install issue, so it'd belong here.

That already appears in the Download docs, and it already links to the CVS
howto, so it'll be all right.

Yes, that's what I was thinking. Much easier for everyone and more visible
to future doc maintainers.

Done.

Seems like all my internal links turn out that way. Hadn't noticed it
before. Doesn't get me any problems though, and if it's broken now it's
because I haven't uploaded the whole site to users.skynet.be, only the
parts for preview.

Ok, thank you. I'll commit it now then.

very nice!

I guess it's fine. though

I suggest the following. What you did is fine. Though do add a short
info on retrieving the source with cvs, and a link to the whole
document. i.e. duplicate only this section:
http://users.skynet.be/pereinar/mod-perl/contribute/cvs_howto.html#Checking_Out
and link to the rest of the doc.
This is essential for those who only want to know these three lines:
% cvs -d ":pserver:anoncvs@cvs.apache.org:/home/cvspublic" login
(use the password "anoncvs")
% cvs -d ":pserver:anoncvs@cvs.apache.org:/home/cvspublic" co modperl
---
i suppose these docs are moving out from /admin then, right?
---
On
http://users.skynet.be/pereinar/mod-perl/contribute/docs/maintenance.html
please add to the internal links validation:
bin/build -lf
---
You have a broken link to:
http://users.skynet.be/pereinar/mod-perl/contribute/..\./download/docs.html
at:
http://users.skynet.be/pereinar/mod-perl/contribute/docs.html
---
I think there will be a few tweaks after you commit, but overall looks
very good.
Thanks.
