[D] 400 Bad Request using Apache Hop Server Endpoint for Workflow execution (hop)
GitHub user WeilerDavid created a discussion: 400 Bad Request using Apache Hop Server Endpoint for Workflow execution
I have Apache Hop Server running on a windows machine and want to execute the workflows and pipelines via Rest Api.
When i execute a Pipeline using: "http://127.0.0.1:8081/hop/startPipeline?name=testPipe" everything is working fine.
When i try to execute a workflow using: "http://127.0.0.1:8081/hop/startWorkflow?name=testWorkflow" i get a 400 Bad Request response with this content:
_java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "String.length()" because "s" is null

Has anyone an idea what's wrong with the request.
In fact, the workflow will be executed successfully.

Thanks in advance for any ideas to solve this.

As i know to start a workflow you need Asynchronous Web Service. (/hop/asyncRun/?service=)
For transforms you will need the webservice. (hop/webService/?service=)
