MAC Address range for Apache VCL
Is the a mac address range for Apache VCL? How are the mac addresses managed for several VMware servers? Does VMware manage them or is it a manual process that I must do?
I understand there is one for VMware:
Private MAC Address
NOTE: For VMware virtual machines, the MAC addresses you choose
must be in the range 00:50:56:00:00:00 - 00:50:56:3F:FF:FF. Pay
special attention to the upper bound of this range.

Elwin,
VCL does not enforce what ranges of MAC addresses are used. The addresses
must be entered into VCL for each VM. If you select to "add multiple"
computers when adding them to VCL, you can enter a single MAC address, and it
will sequentially generate 2 MAC addresses for each computer that is being
added.
See the following page (note that it is updated for 2.4.2 as things changed
since 2.3.2).
