[jira] [Created] (SAMZA-177) Move hello-samza to Apache git
Jakob Homan created SAMZA-177:
---------------------------------
Summary: Move hello-samza to Apache git
Key: SAMZA-177
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SAMZA-177
Project: Samza
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Jakob Homan
Assignee: Jakob Homan
Right now the intro module to Samza is still hosted on github even though we're working on it through ASF JIRA. It'd be better to move it under the ASF git so that (a) all committers get access to it automatically and (b) it's a more official part of the project. We can still have it mirrored to github (as the main repo is done), so that most users will interact with it through that site.
Lots of ASF projects have multiple git repos (http://git.apache.org/) that they publish to. I'll work with infra to get this moved over.
