[~jkni] [~brandon.williams], thanks a lot for looking at this. Do you mean add the check when stop gossip, like in the `0003-for-proxy-node-not-set-gossip-tokens.patch`? Still, I do not quite understand where and why we need to re-broadcast the shutdown message when we start the gossip, can you please explain more about it?
