Some Simple Questions

Hi all,

  I am new in Xindice. I need to load a number of files into Xindice. The data are stored as follow:

../mail/20010701/01.xml
../mail/20010701/02.xml
../mail/20010701/03.xml
../mail/20010702/01.xml
../mail/20010702/02.xml
../mail/20010703/01.xml

What is the efficient way to load the data?

Also, any example for me such that I need to write Java to query the data after loading. Thanks
